Continuing On . . .

Hey Sis,

I know your happy and nothing is goin wrong up there. Wish it was the same for me down here. It’s been a while since I’ve wrote you to update you on how things have been going with your neice and nephew. Oh, and Momma. How she misses you still as much as the day you had to leave us. Lilly (her dog) passed away a lil over a month ago now. She came home and dad found Lilly already gone in her bed. To say Momma was crushed is an understatement, ya hear me?

Remember me tellin you about Mercedes bein pregnant? Yeah it’s been a while since I last wrote you. But she had a healthy 8lb baby boy. He was born a day earlier than they said he would. Febuary 1, 2022. She named him ‘Lukah Neal Spees’. When I was at the bank one day, I was bragging about fixin to be a grandma. One of the tellers asked if I knew what his name was yet. I of course told the guy ‘Lukah’. Apparently he’s big into looking up the meaning of people’s names and he knew what ‘Lukah’s’ name meant. “Light”. Can you believe that Jenn? My grandsons name means ‘Light’. I thought it was fitting seeing that he was a new being with his own brand-new soul. Hope I didn’t sound silly sayin that.

Oh my goodness. There’s so much in my head. Memories I have that are so beautiful, I could never forget. But at the same time I also can’t pick jus ONE of them to tell you about. Other than Lukah being born. She was in labor for 37 hours! Even after he was born she didn’t even ask for any pain meds! She didn’t take a narcotic pain pill until the day after she had him.

There’s so much more to tell you. Unfortunately, I have to leave for work. I’ll fill you in when I have more time. I love and miss you an Lil’ Jesse so much. Save me an the family a seat.
